Tasting
The color is a beautiful garnet with carmine highlights. The complex nose reveals mineral notes, roasted aromas, and blond tobacco, complemented by a hint of spices, white pepper, and olive, leading back to fruit (brandy-soaked cherries). On the palate, the wine has a round attack and unfolds smoothly. The tannins are coated and silky. There is a lovely aromatic finish complemented by notes of licorice. The overall impression is lively, featuring a pleasing tension and wonderful harmony.
