VINTAGES
Château Cartier 2015
Weather Conditions During the Growing Season
The year 2015 was marked by very distinct seasonal patterns. A relatively mild spring arrived on time following a cold and wet winter. June, which was dry and hot, provided favorable conditions for flowering. July continued the summer trend, leading to an early halt in vine growth. Finally, the thunderstorms in August and September prevented this vintage from becoming overly sun-drenched and helped balance the vines’ development. The harvest, which began in mid-September, was completed within the month.

Tasting
The color is beautiful and deep. The nose is complex, blending black fruits, opium powder, violets, and smoky notes. The palate is juicy, refreshing, and velvety. The mineral and salty finish lingers for a very long time.
