VINTAGES

Weather Conditions During the Growing Season
Spring was cold and rainy. The vines got off to a late start, and flowering took place under difficult conditions. July was exceptionally cool but dry in the second half of the month. Warm weather set in during August, with a heat wave beginning after the 15th. September felt like summer, and autumn didn’t set in until the very last few days of the month.

Tasting
The color is a deep garnet. The nose is complex, marked by black fruit intermingled with floral notes. Very subtle woody notes round it out. A beautiful attack—both soft and lively—gives way to a juicy, full-bodied, and refined palate with a velvety mouthfeel. The finish is very fresh, rounded, and persistent, featuring vibrant fruit paired with mineral notes. The fruit is precise and crisp, the body is dense, the finish is long, and the wine is very well-balanced overall.
